Casa Bonitas!

We picked my sister up at the airport and she was hungry, so we decided that we should go to Casa Bonitas in Denver. This is an old Mexican Restaurant that we used to go to when we were younger for special occaisions. It is 30 years old now and lately has had the reputation of being a dive, so we decided to check it out to see if the rumors were true. I had remembered seeing cliff divers and eating in caves, and seeing magic and puppet shows. I remembered it as being pretty fun. Well, it still was fun. We decided that maybe it had gone down a little bit down hill, but they must have gotten a new chef because the food was really quite good! I wouldn't say the best Mexican food, but I would go back for it again. They still had the cliff divers, and puppet shows. You can still eat in a cave or a mine. They have this really cool scary cave for the kids to go through. I remembered that from when I was a kid. Korbin loved it. He made us take him through it about 15 times.

Outside again.

It was a fun lunch!

I love that place for the novelty of it and the exciting dining place for kids. The food...not so much. Although the sopapillas are scrumptious.
