The last of Nana's visit

We really enjoyed our visit with Craig's mom Laura. She was a huge help for me with Peyton. I think Peyton loved having someone to play with and interact with. I know I loved having someone for him to play with. We had some rainy weather so they didn't get to play outside too much, but when they did, they had a great time. I even enjoyed some naps while she was here. Now I am wondering how I am going to do anything without her.

Making tamales with Nana

Craig's mom Laura or Nana as the grandkids call her came to visit us this week to meet Jackson and to be Peyton's play buddy. Peyton has been following her everywhere! Today they made tamales! YUMMY! Peyton loved helping her and she was patient enough to let him help.

Mixing the masa.

Putting the chili on the masa, which is on a corn husk.

Mmm, good!

Jackson looking a little bit yellow still. He has a slight case of Jaundice, but not enough to need to be treated. Oh, he went to the doctor yesterday and he is gaining weight. He was 8#11.5 oz, when he was born, then dropped to 8#2 oz when we went home on Friday, but yesterday he was back up to 8#6 oz, so he won't have to go back to the doctor until he is 2 weeks old.
