Sarah's Wedding April 18, 2008

I finally have a chance to finish putting up pictures from our trip to Idaho and Utah for my sister Sarah's wedding to Nick. Here are some of my favorite pictures. It was a cold and very windy day, so some of the pictures weren't the greatest. For those of you who have ever been to Rexburg, Idaho, you know that that is a very common combo of weather for April. But actually the photographer loved that the sky was overcast. I am sure she got some excellent pictures. I went over early before the sealing and helped Sarah with the pictures. I had planned on helping her get into her dress, but we were running late, so really I just helped with her really long train. It was such a windy day, like I had said before. Her dress was going everywhere. Oh, did I mention that Sarah wore my dress, that I wore when I got married 8 years ago. I was really neat. Oh course it had to be altered because Sarah didn't get the giant genes that I got and she is like 5 or 6 inches shorter than I am and way skinnier. I am glad that all it needed done is fabric taken out. It really looked gorgeous on her as it did on me :-)

Sarah and Nick were sealed at the Rexburg temple and the sealing room was the largest sealing room that has ever been built in a temple. And if I remember right there might have only been 1 or 2 seats left, so they really needed that large sealing room. It was a very sacred and special ceremony and it was really neat to have been able to attend it.

Here is my family. Not the greatest picture of me. That darn wind was really not helping my dress any. Plus I only had about 10 minutes to get ready, so my hair is just in a bun, which I am glad it was, because of the terrible wind.

Me and my little sis!

Our family at the Rexburg temple. Craig was such a good helper with Peyton that day. I was busy all day with helping Sarah, getting food prepared for the reception etc, and Craig took care of Peyton all day. He even got him ready. A lot for Craig and he did a really good job. We did end up loosing our diaper bag here at the temple. I think that it is the black bag you can see in the background of this picture. It disappeared and we never did find it. Whoops. Just a trip to Walmart and $75.00 later all is well.
